PiggyEgg uses a small number of cookies to make the site work well and, only with your consent, to understand in aggregate which calculators are useful. This page lists every one of them specifically, rather than describing them only in general terms.
Essential cookies
Used for basic site functionality. These cannot be disabled, are never used to track you across other sites, and don't require consent under the ePrivacy Directive since they're strictly necessary for the site to work.
Google Analytics cookies
Set only after you accept analytics cookies (via “Accept All” or by enabling Google Analytics specifically in Cookie Preferences). If you reject or later withdraw this consent, these cookies are actively deleted from your browser, not just left unrenewed.

Vercel Analytics
Also set only after you accept analytics cookies. Unlike Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics does not use cookies at all, and does not store a persistent identifier in your browser, in local storage, or anywhere else. See Vercel's Privacy Policy for detail on how it works.
Local storage
Separately from cookies, we store one entry in your browser's local storage, under the key piggyegg-cookie-consent, recording your cookie preference choice itself (which categories you accepted, and when). This is what lets the consent banner remember your decision instead of reappearing on every visit. It never leaves your device.
Third-party cookies
We do not use any advertising or affiliate network today, so no third-party advertising cookies are set on this site. If we display ads or affiliate links in the future, the third parties providing them may set their own cookies, governed by their own privacy and cookie policies, not PiggyEgg's, and we will update this page before any such service goes live.
Managing your preferences
You can change your analytics preferences at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer of every page. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their settings, and let you clear local storage for a site. Blocking essential cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
